1Now therefore, Israel, hear the statutes and ordinances I am teaching you to observe, that you may live, and may enter in and take possession of the land which the LORD, the God of your ancestors, is giving you. 5See, I am teaching you the statutes and ordinances as the LORD, my God, has commanded me, that you may observe them in the land you are entering to possess. 6Observe them carefully, for this is your wisdom and discernment in the sight of the peoples, who will hear of all these statutes and say, “This great nation is truly a wise and discerning people.” 7For what great nation is there that has gods so close to it as the LORD, our God, is to us whenever we call upon him? 8Or what great nation has statutes and ordinances that are as just as this whole law which I am setting before you today? 9Revelation at Horeb. However, be on your guard and be very careful not to forget the things your own eyes have seen, nor let them slip from your heart as long as you live, but make them known to your children and to your children’s children,

12III - Glorify the LORD, Jerusalem; Zion, offer praise to your God, 13For he has strengthened the bars of your gates, blessed your children within you. 15He sends his command to earth; his word runs swiftly! 16Thus he makes the snow like wool, and spreads the frost like ash; 19He proclaims his word to Jacob, his statutes and laws to Israel. 20He has not done this for any other nation; of such laws they know nothing. Hallelujah!

17Teaching About the Law. “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. 18Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. 19Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
