1Psalm 16 God the Supreme Good - A miktam of David. I - Keep me safe, O God; in you I take refuge. 2I say to the LORD, you are my Lord, you are my only good. 5LORD, my allotted portion and my cup, you have made my destiny secure. 7II - I bless the LORD who counsels me; even at night my heart exhorts me. 8I keep the LORD always before me; with him at my right hand, I shall never be shaken. 11You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence, the delights at your right hand forever.

17Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth.

39And he told them a parable, “Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into a pit? 40No disciple is superior to the teacher; but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher. 41Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own? 42How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove that splinter in your eye,’ when you do not even notice the wooden beam in your own eye?
