9The LORD God then called to the man and asked him: Where are you? 10He answered, “I heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid.” 11Then God asked: Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat? 12The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—she gave me fruit from the tree, so I ate it.” 13The LORD God then asked the woman: What is this you have done? The woman answered, “The snake tricked me, so I ate it.” 14Then the LORD God said to the snake: Because you have done this, cursed are you among all the animals, tame or wild; On your belly you shall crawl, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. 15I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; They will strike at your head, while you strike at their heel.

May your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. 3If you, LORD, keep account of sins, Lord, who can stand? 4But with you is forgiveness and so you are revered. 5II - I wait for the LORD, my soul waits and I hope for his word. 6My soul looks for the Lord more than sentinels for daybreak. More than sentinels for daybreak, 7let Israel hope in the LORD, For with the LORD is mercy, with him is plenteous redemption, 8And he will redeem Israel from all its sins.

31Now is the time of judgment on this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out. 32And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.”

20Blasphemy of the Scribes. He came home. Again [the] crowd gathered, making it impossible for them even to eat. 21When his relatives heard of this they set out to seize him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” 22The scribes who had come from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and “By the prince of demons he drives out demons.” 23Jesus and Beelzebul. Summoning them, he began to speak to them in parables, “How can Satan drive out Satan? 24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand; that is the end of him. 27But no one can enter a strong man’s house to plunder his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house. 28Amen, I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them. 29But whoever blasphemes against the holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.” 30For they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.” 31Jesus and His Family. His mother and his brothers arrived. Standing outside they sent word to him and called him. 32A crowd seated around him told him, “Your mother and your brothers [and your sisters] are outside asking for you.” 33But he said to them in reply, “Who are my mother and [my] brothers?” 34And looking around at those seated in the circle he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 35[For] whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”
